Renee is an excellent black stylist. She has been in the cosmetology and make-up industry for decades. She truly knows hair care and has even launched her own hair care line 'Rose Peace Naturals'. I have being going to her for years now. I trust her with my hair and know that she will always have my best hair interest in mind!

If I could give a zero I would. My mom, who is a Purple Heart recipient, tried to schedule a first time appointment and was denied services. Not for anything my mom did but because of a previous work relationship that Renee had. She placed her work experience on my mom who did nothing but request services. Very unprofessional and should not be working in a town filled with service members and veterans if she cannot separate her personal feelings from her job. Also she cancels the day before the appointment.

I flew in from FL to have Renee do my hair. She began soon as I walked in. She was polite, punctual, professional, funny... and cared for my hair. I loved the products she used on my hair. She answered my questions about what she was using and she used a straightening comb!! My hair was bouncy, flowy, healthy and just awesome. Next time I visit CA I will give her a call. Great service!! I have pretty long hair and the new normal for most hair dressers is to charge for length. I was blessed to have her not charge me extra. She is gets extra cool points for that!!

So.Came for my mom to get mothers day hair cut.i picked this place after reading reviews and seeing the pictures.my mom wanted a pixie cut with a weave bang. immediatly Renee was like she dont do glue ins.we didn't even ask for glue.we were charge 125 and according to renee that was a deal because my mom was getting a relaxer.price did not matter to me. It couldve been more with no problem if it was worth it.Renee got clipper happy.she cut too low and my mom has a gash by her ear where hair now will not grow back. the cut was uneven. instead of a fade up in the back of my mom's head it was a noticeable skint.a weak after the hair cut my mom washed her hair and her hair was courser then before especially with my mom having fine natural hair.i dont know what "relaxer" renee used but it was not a good one.we were so disappointed and my mom was embarrassed.we got it fixed with a trip to a barbershop for 35dollars.i didnt mind spending the 125 but it was a complete waste of money.just a warning.After alllllllll the great reviews i read i wonder why our experience was so different.
