Earlier in the year I was on a search to find a braider and hairdresser in San Diego and stumbled across Kei’s name being mentioned in a san Diego hair group, recommending her braiding services. At that time I was feeling pretty vulnerable and was wanting to establish a lasting relationship with a stylist that had growing (gifted) hands with good energy. Weird, I know, but to have anyone in your head is a very personal and sacred experience, so making the right choice was very important to me, because I was overcoming hair loss due to a past diagnosis. I quickly glanced at her work, read through her requirements, and decided to take a chance. I am so glad I did! My first appointment with Kei will always be a memorable experience, Kei was on-time, professional, listened, understood my needs and wants, was patient, and very meticulous with her work. Kei and the (co-workers) members of her shop are so warm and welcoming. They do make you feel like family and they bring the culture. I went to Kei to start my hair journey again. Started with two steam twists then over to braids (cornrows) She helped me create a game plan and routine. After a few months, my hair and scalp were MUCH healthier and longer She’s extremely professional and is on time! 10/10 would recommend to anyone - just make sure you check her website for availability as she books up super fast!! And it’s for a good reason because she’s that good! Also the shop she works at is excellent as well. Extremely well kept, staff always booked up with clients, fun and inviting atmosphere, and they’ll make sure you leave right
