I had a great experience at Images Hair Design. Mona washed, cut, and styled my hair from a picture I showed her on Pintrest. She did a great job on the cut and style, and she was very fun to chat with during the visit. She listened to what I wanted and really did a wonderful job on my hair. The salon receptionist was very nice as well. I've lived here for 1 year and am glad to have found a nice salon and stylist in my own neighborhood for a reasonable price.

I've gotten my haircut a few times here in the past by Jasmine and she was great! However, I was recently in for a trim with Mel (Jasmine was not available and I now have a baby and my free time is limited) and I was very disappointed. I asked for my hair to be trimmed about 2" to be all one length. Mel stated that it was really in right now to have it longer in the front and shorter in the back. I told him I did not like that look when it was extreme, but if he would do it very subtle, then I was okay with that. When he dried my hair and showed me the end result, it was shorter in the front. I do not know how you go from discussing having it longer in the front to shorter. I called him out on it and he said my hair wouldn't let him cut it the way he wanted to, he thought this would look better, and that it was because of where I part my hair. Hmmmm. He offered to fix it and ultimately I came out with having 5" taken off and it was still slightly shorter in the front. He tried to make things right by offering a free trim in a couple weeks. That time has passed and I did not go in. I learned my lesson the hard way a few years back to not let a hairstylist try to "fix" their mistake as they will tend to only make it worse. Needless to say I will not be going back. He also criticized my home state of WI, the shampoo and conditioner I use, and questioned the color of my hair as my hair is growing in lighter now that I am no longer pregnant. Not impressed with his services nor personal skills.

I'm terrified of bad haircuts! My fine, thin hair takes about a million years to recover, so I will NEVER get my haitr cut by anyone other than Jimmy at Magic Mel. He's SUPER talented, especially if you want a professional bob, and he's fun, easy to work with-the BEST!!
