I came back to San Diego after being gone for awhile. My hair needed professional attention. Mothers day was that Sunday and I was referred to Ms. JoHannah. Although specializing in natural hair, she's just as skilled with relaxed hair. Not only was she accommodating she was able to squeeze me in with short notice. She's been my beautician ever since. My badly damaged hair is now healthy and growing in only 4 months. Ms. JoHannah is knowledgeable and will not let you do unhealthy things to your hair. Good conversation to boot ha can't go wrong. No more kitchen perms for me!! Ms. JoHannah has my respect and patronage. I will not go anywhere else!!!! STILL HOLDING STRONG. 2022 still holding on. Love this lady.

I got highlights and I could tell that Johanna had my hair's best interest in mind. Additionally, she guided me through a proper hair regimen to maintain hair length and I am on a whole new journey to healthier and longer hair. 10/10 would reccomend.

I made a mistake by getting my 4c natural hair straighten by a unprofessional stylist who completely damaged my hair! I'm so thankful that I found JoHannah! Let me tell you something! JoHannah is amazing!!! She has revived my hair! Her hours of operation are convenient & I DON'T have to wait under the dryer while she completes someone else's hair! I can now say my hair is healthy & being that she manages to braid my THICK hair, she deserve a 5+ x10 lol!

I had major setback this year and it was so discouraging. I decided to see JoHannah and I haven't looked back. JoHanna is so lovely, she takes the time to find out what your regimen is like and she gives you very helpful tips. I am starting to fall in love with my hair again because of her. I highly recommend seeing her!

On good referal tip, and after very good conversation with Johanna about how to repair damaged hair. I was confident that Johanna was the needle in the hay stack I was looking for. So, I booked an appointment for my 10 year old daughter. We arrived to a professional, and warm welcome at her beautifully designed Sola Salon. I came to get my daughter a shampoo, deep conditioner, end trim, blow dry and style, and got exactly that and surprisingly better. Johannah was meticulous at applying the conditioner. Hairstylists these days, treat the conditioHairstylis were liquid gold. Before placing you under the dryer, they use the minimum amount of condisioner on your hair that misses a few spots and barley even covers your hair. With Johanna, I was completely taken aback when I saw her part my daughters hair in a thin horizontal line at the base of her head and clip the rest on top and then placed an adequate amount of conditioner to thoroughly coat the hair while rubbing it in her scalp, then on to the next row. Instead of a 30 second conditioning it took 15 minutes...then under the dryer. Another, highlight, was when I saw her pull out the Marcel stove....I was like, you have to be kidding me. When I ask stylists if they use a stove they basically laugh at me while pulling out their ceramic electrical flat iron. When using the flat iron, I know from experience, that my curls will be flimsy and fall out rapidly. With a Marcel stove and curling iron, the curls are in until you wash it out! When done, my daughters hair had a brilliant shine, smooth ends and a great style.
