NATIVA hair owner Suzette is very talented, experienced and respectful. I was guilty of scheduling last minute, but she accepted me. She was on time and me the next morning. Which I appreciated because I was trying to do all things at things at once. We discuss style and price, then she was off. Very relaxing and comfortable experience. We chatted a few also, very experienced and nice woman! She know I love my braids, I'm very satisfied, I asked her to leave my ends of braids out, so I could style how I want In future.

I was happy until I got home yesterday and started really look at my hair... not worth $130 at all. I had wanted feed in braids at the top and a partial sew-in at the bottom. I got not so good looking corn rows at the top instead... after a few braids she also made the comment that my hair was "nappy". LOL OKAY. If that's the case why couldn't she make it still look decent? NO ONE ELSE HAS EVERY HAD A PROBLEM WITH MY HAIR.. I've never been told I have nappy hair, THICK HAIR, but not nappy. ( word of advice) that's rude to tell anyone, especially a new/ first time client. I even showed her pictures of MY HAIR PREVIOUSLY of how I wanted my feed in braids to look. She kept using some childish 'Just for me' hair spray in my hair, you would think she would realize it wasn't working.. I offered her my leave in conditioner and detangler many times, she kept declining.. okay. She had all the heating tools she needed. Perhaps, if she had less distractions (on the phone) while working, I could have been completely satisfied. You can see in the braids where she kept stopping.. Yes, they really look that bad.. I wish I would have really looked at my hair in the shop. HUGE LESSON LEARNED! Don't just glance, really look. I guess I got used to my hair looking exactly the way I wanted it in the past with other hair stylists. My hair was for my anniversary, now I have to find someone else to go over her work before Sunday.. Suzette will more than likely never be in my hair again. Then, Suzette called and texted me for hours today only to plea and ask to remove my review and also to argue with me. Very poor customer service and show of professionalism. Never had such a terrible experience with someone. Very upsetting..

I usually don't leave reviews but I was so satisfied at Nativa hair Braiding that I decided to let others know. My hair was done sooner that I expected and it looked amazing . The hair braider was very welcoming and warm. The shop is very clean and well kept together with complementary snacks and drinks for customers ..the type of service I received at Nativa exceeded all my expectations. I definitely recommend it!

Amazing hair stylist. She makes you feel very relaxed and she does an amazing job. Her style is beautiful. I highly recommend setting up an appointment with Native.
