I'm not from San Diego, so I was walking in on faith, but I left walking on cloud 9. I got cornrows to clean up for a work event and I looked and felt amazing! The price was perfect and didn't break my budget. The environment was friendly and welcoming. Everytime I come to San Diego for work, I WILL be stopping here. Thank you SO much for taking care of me. I'm so thankful I found an amazing braid shop. African Hair Braiding by Koumba is one of the best. I relocated to San Diego from another state. I was really nervous about finding a new braider. I'm so happy I made the right choice. Thanks for great service ladies!

I love getting my hair done at African Hair Braiding by Koumba 1. There is never a wait. They're always ready at your appointment time. 2. If you ask the not to braid your hair tight, they actually listen. So many places will braid it tight even if you're sitting in the chair crying. 3. Excellent pricing. I've paid double for less quality service. 4 Their salon is very clean. 5 They will try different styles, which I love. I wanted goddess locs with a bang. Not a normal request and I love it the results. 6 I always meet amazing women there. Even the clientele that come there are awesome 7 Easy to get to their location and plenty of parking.
